About steps.org
steps.org is built and run by Tiago Martins, founder. It started from a simple, stubborn problem with a name: gravitophobia, the fear of stepping on the scale. Dreading it makes you avoid it, and avoiding it makes the dread worse.
steps.org is a digital treatment for that loop — one regular action: step on the scale, prove you showed up with a quick in-app photo, and reset a rolling 48-hour timer. The photo is verified in the moment and never stored. Only your most recent reading is kept, and it's never shared.
No streaks to perform for an audience, no data to sell, no dark patterns. You only pay for the reminders you actually trigger — weigh in early and you pay nothing extra.
