New
- A new steps.org, with a page on what micro journaling is.
- Sign-up builds your journal. Say what brings you here, how much time you have and what to focus on, then swap, reword or remove any question, or add your own.
- Every question carries a note to self, the reason it matters to you. Skip a question and its note comes back the next morning, word for word. Notes can be switched off, for one question or all.
- When one word keeps coming up in your recent answers to a question, Steps says so in one line before it. On until you ask Steps to switch it off.
- A count of the mornings in a row a question went unanswered, off unless you ask for it.
- A score: how fully you answered your questions over your last 30 mornings, shown once you have 7.
- Ask about any day by date, word, person or place, or for the numbers in your answers.
- Before anyone at Steps can read a conversation record, the names found in it are hidden, with every email and phone number.
- Steps shows its name and logo in iMessage.
Fixed
- Swap no longer replaces a question you reworded or wrote yourself at sign-up.
- A short note to self no longer counts as sent when a reply only used the same word.
- A message sent on a day off no longer counts against your score.
- Searching a month for “Lisbon” now also finds “Lisboa” in that month.
